COVID Safety at the 2022 HESJ Conference
The health and safety of our participants, presenters, and the communities of Chicago are our top priority, and we continue to closely monitor and adhere to all safety protocols. The 2022 HESJ will only offer access to in-person session due to technology restrictions, but we are looking to offer video recordings of select sessions available to view after the conference.
For in person attendees, we are taking the following precautions:
-
All attendees and presenters must remain masked at all times unless they are eating or drinking while sitting in a designated area. We will provide masks and hand sanitizer for any participant who needs them. Attendees will be reminded to keep their masks on throughout the conference.
-
Attendees will be able to color-code their name badges to signify their level of comfort with distance/interaction: green for welcoming close interaction, yellow for cautious/no physical contact, red for please keep your distance.
-
We ask that all participants are fully vaccinated and boosted beforehand, in line with your individual medical guidance.
-
If you are feeling ill prior to HESJ, or if someone in your household or in close proximity to you has tested positive for COVID or is awaiting test results, please stay home.
-
For any questions or concerns about conference safety, please reach out to us at mph@depaul.edu.
